Para poder servirle mejor, la Parroquia ha hecho esta página y ha elaborado puntos que tal vez desee considerar al planificar el funeral de su ser querido.
Las siguientes son preguntas que debe tener en cuenta.

1A Lectura del libro de la Sabiduría (4, 7-15)
El justo, aunque muera prematuramente, hallará descanso; porque la edad venerable no consiste en tener larga vida ni se mide por el numero de años. Las verdaderas canas del hombre son la prudencia y la edad avanzada se mide por una vida intachable. Cumplió la voluntad de Dios, y Dios lo amó. Viviá entre pecadores, y Dios se lo llevó; se lo llevó para que la malicia no pervirtiera su conciencia, para que no se dejara seducir por el engaño, pues la fascinación del mal oscurece el bien y el vértigo de las pasiones pervierte a las almas inocentes. Llegó a la perfección en poco tiempo y con eso alcanzó la plenitud de una larga vida. Su vida le fue agradable a Dios, por lo cual el Señor se apresuró a sacarlo de entre la maldad. La gente ve, pero no comprende ni se da cuenta de que Dios ama a los justos y se compadece de sus elegidos.

The righteous, though they die early, will be at rest. For old age is not honoured for length of time, or measured by number of years; but understanding is grey hair for anyone, and a blameless life is ripe old age. They were caught up so that evil might not change their understanding or guile deceive their souls. For the fascination of wickedness obscures what is good, and roving desire perverts the innocent mind. Being perfected in a short time, they fulfilled long years; for their souls were pleasing to the Lord, therefore he took them quickly from the midst of wickedness. Yet the peoples saw and did not understand, or take such a thing to heart, that God’s grace and mercy are with his elect, and that he watches over his holy ones.

On this mountain the Lord of hosts will make for all peoples a feast of rich food, a feast of well-aged wines, of rich food filled with marrow, of well-aged wines strained clear. Then the Lord God will wipe away the tears from all faces, and the disgrace of his people he will take away from all the earth, for the Lord has spoken. 1F A reading from the book of Lamentations (3:17-26)
My soul is bereft of peace; I have forgotten what happiness is; so I say, “Gone is my glory, and all that I had hoped for from the Lord.” The thought of my affliction and my homelessness is wormwood and gall! My soul continually thinks of it and is bowed down within me. But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.” The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul that seeks him. It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.

2A Lectura de la carta del apóstol san Pablo a los Romanos (6, 3-4, 8-9)
Hermanos y hermanas: Todos los que hemos sido incorporados a Cristo Jesús por medio del bautismo, hemos sido incorporados a su muerte. En efecto, por el bautismo fuimos sepultados con él en su muerte, para que, así como Cristo resucitó de entre los muertos por la gloria del Padre, así también nosotros llevemos una vida nueva. Por lo tanto, si hemos muerto con Cristo, estamos seguros de que también viviremos con él; pues sabemos que Cristo, una vez resucitado de entre los muertos, ya nunca morirá. 2B Lectura de la primera carta del apóstol san Pablo a los Tesalonicenses
(4, 13-18)
Hermanos y hermanas: No queremos que ignoren lo que pasa con los difuntos, para que no vivan tristes, como los que no tienen esperanza. Pues, si creemos que Jesús murió y resucitó, de igual manera debemos creer que, a los que mueren en Jesús, Dios los llevará con él. Lo que les decimos, como palabra del Señor, es esto: que nosotros, los que quedemos vivos para cuando, venga el Señor, no tendremos ninguna ventaja sobre los que ya murieron. Cuando, Dios mande, que suenen las trompetas, se oirá la voz de un arcángel y el Señor mismo bajará del cielo. Entonces, los que murieron en Cristo resucitarán primero; después nosotros, los que quedemos vivos, seremos arrebatados, juntamente con ellos entre nubes, por el aire, para ir al encuentro del Señor, y así estaremos siempre con él.

Yo, Juan, vi un cielo nuevo y una tierra nueva, porque el primer cielo y la primera tierra habían desaparecido y el mar ya no existía. También vi que descendía del cielo, desde donde está Dios, la ciudad santa, la nueva Jerusalén, engalanada como una novia que va a desposarse con su prometido. Oí una gran voz, que venía del cielo, que decía: “Esta es la morada de Dios con los hombres; vivirá con ellos como su Dios y ellos serán su pueblo. Dios les enjugará todas las lágrimas y ya no habrá muerte ni duelo, ni penas ni llantos, porque ya todo lo antiguo terminó”. 2D A reading from the letter of Paul to the Romans (6:3-9)
Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? For if we have been united with him in a death like is, we will certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his. 2E A reading from the first letter of Paul to the Thessalonians (4:13-18)
But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters, about those who have died, so that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. For this we declare to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will by no means precede those who have died. For the Lord himself, with a cry of command, with the archangel’s call and with the sound of God‘s trumpet, will descend from heaven, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up in the clouds together with them to meet the Lord in the air; and so we will be with the Lord forever. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “See, the home of God is among mortals. He will dwell with them; they will be his peoples, and God himself will be with them; he will wipe every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; mourning and crying and pain will be no more, for the first things have passed away.” And the one who was seated on the throne said, “See, I am making all things new. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give water as a gift from the spring of the water of life. Those who conquer will inherit these things, and I will be their God and they will be my children.”

If he comes during the middle of the night, or near dawn, and finds them so, blessed are those slaves. “But know this: if the owner of the house had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have let his house be broken into. Jesus answered Andrew and Philip, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.
Very truly, I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains just a single grain; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.
Those who love their life lose it, and those who hate their life in this world will keep it for eternal life. Whoever serves me must follow me, and where I am, there will my servant be also. Whoever serves me, the Father will honour. “Now my soul is troubled. And what should I say -- “Father, save me from this hour’? No, it is for this reason that I have come to this hour. Father, glorify your name.”
Then a voice came from heaven, “I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again.”

And you know the way to the place where I am going. “Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Música • Music
Por un estipendio mínimo, el personal de la parroquia puede proporcionar un cantante y pianista para la Misa. Se pide una donación de $50 si decide traer sus propios músicos (esto también implica si trae un mariachi). Los músicos fuera de la parroquia deben traer sus propios micrófonos y cables.

For a minimal stipend, the Parish staff can provide a singer and pianist for Mass. There is a $50 bench fee if you decide to bring your own musicians (this also applies if you bring a mariachi). Out of parish musicians are to bring their own microphones and cables.

Below are options for Entrance, Offertory, Communion, and Recessional hymns. The ordinary of the Mass and Psalm is pre-selected based on Liturgical season and norms. There is an extra stipend to learn a hymn that is not listen in the list below. Any hymn that is requested must be liturgically approved by the USCCB.
​
The English Mass setting that is sung is Mass of Restoration. This includes the Gospel Acclamation, Holy, When We Eat This Bread, Amen, Lamb of God.

Salones • Facilities
DUE TO COUNTY AND ARCHDIOCESAN GUIDELINES, WE CANNOT USE ANY OF OUR FACILITIES.
Como un acto de apoyo para usted y su familia, la Parroquia ofrece un salón para una recepción antes o después de la Misa Fúnebre.

Hay tres salones disponibles entre semana. El salón Guadalupe (A2), el salón San José (A3) y la Plaza Madonna (B). Si es necesario también se pueden usar los salones de la Plaza Madonna que son los salones san Juan (B4) y la Inmaculada (B5).
​
La parroquia tiene actividades durante el día y pueda ser que el salón que solicite este ocupado pero el equipo siempre acomodara a usted y a su familia en un salón de la Parroquia.
​
No hay un cobro para usar los salones de la Parroquia. Es común que familias donen $200 para cubrir los gastos del salón.
DEBIDO A LAS NORMAS DEL CONDADO Y EL ARQUIDIOCESIS, NO PODEMOS USAR NINGUNO DE NUESTROS SALONES.
As an act of support to you and your family, the Parish provides a facility for a reception to take place before or after the Funeral Mass.
​
There three halls available during the weekday. Guadalupe Hall (A2), St. Joseph Hall (A3), and Madonna Plaza (B). When it is necessary, St. John Hall (B4) and Immaculate Conception Hall (B5) are also available.
​
The Parish has activities during the day and it might be that the hall you are requesting might be occupied. Nonetheless, the Parish staff will accommodate you and your family in one of our Parish Halls.
​
There is no cost to use one of the Parish facilities.
It is common that families donate $200 to cover
the hall expenses.
Guadalupe Hall (A2)

Localizado al costado de la Iglesia, junto la gasolinera.
